Parish Life organizes events
throughout the year to encourage fellowship among our members. As we get to know each
other better, we find opportunities to share and lift each other up. We also
regularly share hospitality of light snacks in the parlor after the
11:00 AM worship service on Sunday
mornings. Please
join in our activities and events.

Bowling Party - Saturday,
January 19th at 7:00
PM at
AMF Shady Grove Lanes. Come join the fun for an
evening of bowling with your family and friends at CTS. For
the early birds, we'll start at
7:00 PM, and the adventurous late
nighters can stay for the Xtreme bowling starting at
9:00 PM. Come early or late
and visit while you're not bowling. For more information

Fun night Saturday,
February 2 – Celebrate our cultural diversity with an
international theme to the pot luck dinner at
6:00 PM and entertainment to follow. Think of a story to share
about your family history, recite a poem, share a musical ditty and/or
dance, or explain a custom from your country or origin.
And later we’ll split into teams to answer trivia
questions, so beef up on your geography and history.
This will be a fun way to learn little known facts about
us all and get to know each other better.
Franciscan
Monastery tour – Join us on Saturday, March 1st
for a guided tour of full-scale replicas of Holy Land shrines and the Roman
catacombs at the Franciscan Monastery in northeast DC.
There are also lovely paths among the gardens with quiet
places to sit and relax.
Lent
will be an especially meaningful time to feel as though we’re in the Holy Land.
Meet at church at noon to carpool to the monastery
for our 1:00
